A Message From the Principal

Franklin School is a warm, nurturing kindergarten through sixth grade elementary school with a vibrant spirit of community. Working in close cooperation, our faculty, staff, students and parents have established a learning environment that is both safe and challenging. Besides teaching our students essential basic skills, we strive to instill in them a lifelong love of learning and inquiry, positive self-esteem, and purposeful, responsible citizenship.

FRANKLIN SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT

The Franklin School Mission is to provide all students with a positive challenging environment which empowers them to become responsible and productive citizens of the world. Working as a partnership, the students, staff, parents and community, commit themselves to developing the social, emotional, academic and physical well-being of all children. By developing critical thinking skills, communicated through literacy, fine arts, mathematics, technology and the sciences, the school is responsive to changes in the family, community and world.
