1. Adopt new methods for driving student achievement
2. Develop student safety, physical- and emotional well-being initiatives for an improved school climate
3. Review the district accountability process currently in place to identify areas for improvement

Board goals constitute a professional development improvement plan directed towards increasing knowledge and skills in policy making and governance for members of the board
1. Develop an annual evaluation process calendar
2. Improve board effectiveness through training to expand knowledge
3. Improve community awareness of district progress and achievements
4. Be supportive of and attentive to the new district Chief School Administrator
